Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant

We are seeking a Sales Engineer who is passionate about teaching others how technology can deliver tangible solutions to business problems. To be successful as Jitjatjo’s sales engineer, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of our software products and services, and communicate their benefits in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You will also be driven to achieve your sales goals, showcasing your exceptional sales and customer service skills.

Demonstrate Jitjatjo’s Future-of-Work technology to senior management teams in large-scale businesses in such a compelling way they embrace a Flexible Work model for their business.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Engineering

  • Work closely with our Product Leadership team to understand our products and share feedback from our customers
  • Produce and present technical presentations and demos explaining our products and services to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with our sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support to achieve sales targets
  • Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
  • Conduct competitive analysis on a regular basis and present findings internally

Post-Sales Engineering

  • Create templates for Discovery workshops
  • Lead Integration Discovery workshops with clients
  • Document business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to develop implementation plans
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with customers
  • Ensure smooth handover to our Client/Partner Success teams

    Requirements

    We are looking for someone with:

    • 3-5 years of referenceable experience in SaaS sales engineering
    • The ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers
    • A passion for helping people understand how to leverage technology to their benefit
    • Critical thinking and excellent communication skills, grounded in empathy
    • The ability to quickly absorb and master technology applications and systems
    • A strong understanding of technical troubleshooting methodologies to ascertain and communicate the impact and urgency of potential issues
    • Good leadership and exceptional teamwork skills
    • A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field
